Markey's $1M Investment

Markey’s Rental & Staging has invested more than $1.2M in audiovisual equipment as the exclusive in-house audiovisual provider for JW Marriott Indianapolis.

The JW Marriott Indy is the largest JW Marriott hotel to date, with 1005 rooms and more than 100,000 square feet of beautiful and spacious event space.  Their partnership with Markey’s is a natural one, as Markey’s is a national rental and staging provider that is headquartered in Indianapolis and has been in the audiovisual industry for over 50 years.
“I knew after visiting their site and meeting their staff that I was talking to a reputable company,” said Ray Gilbertson, Director of Event Planning at the JW Marriott Indy. “Their equipment is top-notch and their service to customers has been phenomenal.”

Mark Miller, President of Markey’s, explained that Markey’s has invested deeply in the newest and most sophisticated equipment to be used at the JW Marriott.  This assures the hotel’s guests will have the best possible experience when planning their event, whether it is an extravagant gala, annual company conference, or an important luncheon meeting.   Only name brand equipment of the highest quality makes up the inventory, including JBL, Sony, Panasonic, Shure, Barco, Christie, Grass Valley, and Martin.  Headlining the inventory is a multi-camera HD Production Switching System, two Christie HD 12,000 lumen projectors, and HD projection screens available in three various sizes to meet the need of any event producer managing a project.   The guests of the JW Marriott will also have access to our expansive and diverse inventory housed at our corporate headquarters warehouse.  “We own the most extensive inventory of rental and staging equipment in the Midwest, and all of these items can be reserved specifically for use at the JW Marriott by our on-site event sales team,” said Miller.
